High ranking officer, suertres financier?
Members of the intelligence community strongly denied the allegation that they have a former member of the RPA-ABB who is presently a financier of the illegal numbers game “suertres”.
A reliable source from the provincial command of the Philippine National Police disclosed that they have not yet confirmed the allegation but they are presently checking and investigating about the matter.
The accusation started after a police officer overheard an alleged suertres runner of a certain barangay boasting that they will not be arrested despite their illegal operations since they are leaning on a strong wall who is a former high ranking official of the RPA-ABB.
However, the 705th Provincial Mobile Group pointed out that they were not sure whether the alleged runner’s statement was just a joke or not. Yet they assured that whoever maybe involved with any illegal act, even high ranking officials, they will not hesitate to captured and punish them.
The police are now investigating in the area where the alleged assistant of the financier who is a former RPA-ABB member was overheard with such statement.
