Water preservation module
eyed for schools’ curriculum
Several performing and visual artists, representatives from the academe and the private sectors participated a creative workshop on information, education, campaign materials for hygiene and sanitation last Friday at the Bethel Guest House which was sponsored by the Integrated Water Resources Management Council.
The workshop aimed that children and students would be aware of the importance of water preservation and sanitation and so a module and a musical campaign on hygiene and sanitation were created to help reinforce the campaign for water preservation and sanitation to the younger generations.
A core group was organized and tasked to produce the module while the artists made comic strips for the module which could be included in the curriculum for elementary and secondary students next school year.
