Marquez formally assumes position
The new Provincial Director of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office will formally take his position today.
A Turn-over of Command will taka place at 10 in the morning today where Outgoing Provincial Police Director Sr/Supt Melvin Ramon Buenafe will turn-over his command to Incoming Provincial Police Director Augusto Marquez, Jr in Camp Francisco Fernandez, Jr located at Agan-an, Sibulan town.
Col Buenafe has been appointed as the new Chief Intelligence of all the Visayan provinces which can be taken as a promotion for him. Col Marquez is the former Intelligence Chie of the Police Regional Office-7 based in Cebu City.
After the turn-over of command, a fellowship shootfest will immediately follow at the firing range of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office which will be participated by the PNP and the Local Government Unit.
