Linantuyan residents receive goods from military
If in the Southern Part of the province the military has built an educational secondary school building, in the Northern Part, the military has distributed books and plastic wares which the students can use in schooling at Barangay Linantuyan, Guihulngan City.
Yesterday morning, the 11th Infantry Battalion under Lt. Col. Franco Nemesio Gacal also gave a TV set, a DVD player, a dream cable satellite antenna and mahogany seedlings to the officials of Barangay Linantuyan.
A consultative meeting also took place between Guihulngan City Mayor Ernesto Reyes, Brig. General Nestor Ochoa-Commanding General of the 3rd Infantry Division, Col. Honorato delos Reyes-Brigade Commander of the 303rd Infantry Brigade, Col. Gacal ang the barangay officials of Linantuyan. General Ochoa has also interviewed the applicants as CAFGU members in the same area.
