Police commended for shooting an enemy of the state
Dumaguete City Chief of Police Supt. Leopoldo Cabanag considered the motorcab driver who was shot to death by Police Investigator Virgilio Pineda last Friday dawn as an enemy of the state.
According to Cabanag, there is nothing regretful with the death of Jimson Grapa since he is one of those considered to be enemies of the state or the government. Also, Grapa’s outfit during that time was extremely suspicious.
Jimson Grapa was shot to death by Chief Intelligence Officer Inspector Virgilio Pineda after Grapa was alleged to be responsible for the stabbing of a member of the Special Action Group of the police here who was roving during the incident.
Inspector Pineda will be given tribute this coming Thursday in front of the City Council.
