Low Cost Farm Products offered at Buglas farm Congress
The 2007 Buglas Farm Family Congress was formally opened this morning at the Provincial Agriculture Office, Nursery Compound, Piapi, Dumaguete City.
The ceremony was initiated by Governor Emilio Macias and will be culminated on December 22, 2007. The opening was attended by the different farmer’s organizations, associations, fisher folks and others who are yet coming from the different parts in the province.
During the 3-day farm family congress, the public can avail of organic fruits and vegetables at a very low price.
The theme for this year’s farm family congress is “Sustaining Negros Oriental’s Multi Sectoral Agri-Tourism Development Initiatives”.
Invited guest speakers were the three solons in the province, namely, Cong George Arnaiz, Cong Josy Limkaichong and Cong Henry Pryde Teves who sent a representative on his behalf.
