Galgo Clarified allegations
on Napao’s Disqualifications
Assistant Schools Division Superintendent and Officer-in-Charge for the Division of Negros Oriental Victoria Galgo clarified that she is nor underestimating the capabilities of City Schools Division Superintendent Licerio Napao to head the Provincial Division.
In an interview at DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight, Galgo said she is not boasting her qualifications against Napao. According to her, she has only disclosed that for the whole province of Negros Oriental, there are only three of them who are qualified for the position. She added that she will respect Governor Emilio Macias’ recommendation for Napao to head the provincial division.
Governor Emilio Macias was very vocal in his intentions to put Licerio Napao as the Negros Oriental Division’s Superintendent saying that Napao will never refuse to any job or assignment given to him. Macias added that Napao also has the capabilities to find means inorder to complete the task given to him.
Because of the Department of Education’s appointment of Galgo as the Provincial Schools Division Superintendent, Macias threatened that he will not allow the Department of Education to use the Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Center in their sports activities.
