Erames Rebuts Duran’s Allegations
Councilor Rommel Erames defended Councilor Athena DSuran’s allegations regarding the honorarium that will be given to judiciary personnel.
According to Erames, the issuance of honoraria to court judges and prosecutors is in the law.
However, Duran answered that the issuance of honoraria for judiciary personnel that is stated in the law does not necessarily mean that it is morally upright and will essentially followed since there are other personnel in the government who needs more help.
Regarding the removal of the Php700, 000 medical and public assistance fund for councilors, Erames said that if the Php200, 000 budget intended for the same purpose is not enough, the councilors can ask supplemental budget from mayor Agustin Perdices since this was what was done before.
