City dad proposes non-transferable motorcab franchise
The franchise of motorcabs for hire here in the city will soon be non-transferable.
This is the planned ordinance authored by Councilor Rotelio Lumjod after he received several complaints that the franchises which were not renewed will be sold at a very high price.
Councilor Lumjod believes that it is only just to limit the sale of the franchises and in order to implement this; they are going to have as non-transferable.
Several operators were not able to renew their franchises who were given their ultimatum last March 31 and lots of interested buyers of the said expired franchises claimed that the price is very high.
