PARENTAL NEGLECT
CAUSE OF GANGSTERISM
A group of psychologists in the city have commented that the root cause of gangsterism is parental neglect. Where parents are too busy to monitor the activities of their growing teenagers thinking that money can buy happiness.
It was found out that some members of the current gangster rivalry in the city are sons of prominent families even sons of public officials in govenrment. People wonder why their parents cannot discipline their children when it was never too late even a few years back. But today is a little too late unless there are other drastic measures done aside from parental advise, parental presence, and role modeling.
There was also a suggestion that the energies of these gangsters be re-directed to community service like giving each gang a social responsibility of say, directing traffic, or apprehending illegal vehicles plying the streets, or overloading cargo trucks which are destroying city roads.
