NegOr chosen for HEALTHPRO


Upon the signing of a memorandum of agreement last July, the province of Negros Oriental will be a lucky recipient of the Health Promotions and Communications Project (HEALTHPRO) that will assist local government units to increase reinforcing and improving healthy behaviors and widening access to information on health services which is funded by the United States Agency for International Development(USAID).
Negros Oriental is one of the 29 provinces which were chosen to benefit the project in a five-year term which will focus on maternal and child health, family planning, reproductive health, tuberculosis, HIV-AIDS and Avian influenza.
The province was chosen because of the advancement of the delivery services in the province.
