NegOr Scouters join jamboree
The Negros Oriental-Siquijor Boy Scout contingent joined the more than 18,000 scouts and scouters who converged at the Mt. Makiling Scout Camp at Los BaƱos, Laguna last October 21-27, 2007 for the 14th National Scout Jamboree.
It was considered as the biggest group of scouts and scouters to ever converge at the Mt. Makiling Boy Scout Camp. The jamboree was a huge success inspite of days of heavy rain which made the activities more challenging and exciting for the boys.
The Negros Oriental-Siquijor contingent was headed by council Scout Executive Alfredo Catacutan and Field Scout Executive Philambrichi S. Magos.
Negros Oriental-Siquijor Council Chairman Arturo V. Umbac was designated head of the entire Visayas delegation. He was assisted by Judge Victor C. Patrimonio and Negros Oriental Board member Rodolfo A. Martinez.
