Dumaguet City has a New Chief of Police
The city of Dumaguete has new Chief of Police starting today.
At 9 o ‘clock this morning, the turn-over of command ceremony was conducted at the Dumaguete City Police Station from Supt. Dionardo Carlos to Supt. Leopoldo Cabanag.
It can be remembered that Supt Dionardo Carlos himself has requested for his transfer to Camp Crame. During the latter part of February, Carlos has made a leave in order to settle his personal problems regarding his family. When he came back from his leave, he has decided to permanently leave Dumaguete.
Supt Dionardo Carlos said he is confident that Supt Leopoldo Cabanag has the ability and the strength to implement peace and order in the city. At the same time, Supt Carlos is asking the public to assist the police force in its campaign against crimes.
