ENTIRE BATASAN SECURITY FORCE
RELIEVED AFTER LAST NIGHT'S
CONGRESS BOMB EXPLOSION
Elements of the mobile action force have taken over the entire security of the batansasng pambansa. The whole security force at the batasan has been relieved as of last night, and is now taken over by the mobile task force. The congress intends to hold sessions today if only to announce to the terrorists that the legislatorls cannot be threatened with bomb blasts and that law making will continue unhampered. The bomb blast was partly directed to sow chaos in congress and hopefully destabilize govenrmetn. But this was denied by speaker jhose de venecia. Devencecia said that congress will not be threatened in its law making functions.
PRESIDENT ARROYO ISSUED A STSATEMENT last night that she was conveneing the national security council and that she cautioned the circulators of flase information which might exacerbate the stiutasiton. The entire metro manila is p[laced under red alert. She has ordered the replacement of the entire batasan security police. Apparently there was a security lapse in the batasan. President arroyo said that the entire official dom will remain forcus to their objective of good governance but also said that the perpetrators must be hunted , a\rrested andprosecuted to the fullest.
