Napao opted silence
on controversial appointment
City Schools Division Superintendent Licerio Napao chose not give comments regarding Governor Emilio Macias’ controversial recommendation for him to head the provincial schools division even if he is not qualified for the position.
In an interview at DYEM Energy Fm Dumaguete Tonight, Napao disclosed that he does not even know that Governor Macias recommended him for the position.
However, he expressed his joy that somebody trusts and believes in his capabilities to head the division of Negros Oriental.
Governor Macias admitted at Dumaguete Tonight that he has already recommended Napao twice. His first recommendation was when he was not yet a congressman and the second was when he came back to the provincial capitol yet, again he failed.
On the other hand, Napao revealed that he will already retire this coming August since he will be turning 65 by then.
