ONLY WATER PRICE
REMAINS STABLE?

The only price that looks stable in Dumaguete city is water. DSWD manager Prax Dicen said that the consumer price of water remains at P120 per cubic meter per month instead of the planned P140 per cubic meter rate of water per month.

But Prax Dicen , DSWD water manager, said that the dollar and oil movement are affecting the water operations, without mentioning that global warming as another important factor to reckon with in terms of stable water supply.

The water district marked its month-long celebration of its pearl anniversary last Monday, July 16 to August 16 which means water bill incentives to the first 20 water consumers who will pay their bills on time within this month.
DCWD chairman of the board is now Engr. Carlos “Caloy” Amasula. -30
