Solon reveals Reopening of Port
Second District Congressman George Arnaiz revealed that the Philippine Ports Authority Regional Office has already ordered the reopening of the port here in the city.
In a cellphone interview with the solon, he said that he was not able to talk with the General Manager of PPA Oscar Sevilla so he instead contacted its Regional Office through Region 7 PPA Manager Raul Santos. According to Arnaiz, Santos said that he will negotiate with the ALU-TUCP President Democrito Mendoza.
The solon is saddened that despite all his effort to contact all the heads of PPA in Manila, they refused to answer their cellular phones. However, the congressman said that he will tell the President of the country regarding this matter on April 4 at the Clark Air Base during the set Food Summit. Congressman Arnaiz will be attending the Food Summit along with Representatives Joselyn Limkaichong and Pryde Henry Teves and Governor Emilio Macias.
