Buenafe praises conviction of Villar
Former Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office Director Sr/Supt Melvin Ramon Buenafe praised the decision of Judge Marie Rose Inocando-Paras to the charges files against Raul Villar aka “Ka Drilon”.
According to Col. Buenafe who was interviewed over DYEM Energy FM Dumaguete Tonight, the life imprisonment verdict given to Villar gave the police and the military confidence in its campaign against the communist rebels. Villar, who has an P800, 000 reward money, was captured during Col. Buenafe’s term as Provincial Director of the provincial police.
