Buenafe: Promotion means
Bigger responsibilities
Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office Director Sr/Supt Ramon Melvin Buenafe challenged the newly promoted PNP officials in the province to strive hard in giving service to the public.
In the pinning ceremony for the newly promoted officials, Buenafe said that their promotion from their ranks does not mean that they can already relax from their jobs. Instead, Buenafe stressed, their promotion is the start of their new bigger responsibilities and he is hopeful that they will continue to perform their duties as police officers of the province especially that Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office was chosen as the Best Provincial Command in Region 7 with the lowest crime rate in the whole country.
Because of this, Col Buenafe was ordered by PNP Chief General Avelino Razon to develop more the service of the police to the people.
Buenafe added that General Razon has great expectations with the performance of the police officers in the province since they were able to garner several awards during the celebration of the 17th PNP Recognition Day held at Cebu City last Friday.
