SK Prexy admits Ineffectivity of SK
Newly-elected Sangguniang Kabataan President and Ex-Officio member of the city council Athena Duran admitted the reality the Sangguniang Kabataan was not able to do something relevant to the society.
However, she added, this does is not enough to abolish the SK.
According to Duran, what the Sangguniang Kabataan really needs is a change which is a great challenge to the youth nowadays.
Duran guaranteed that she is going to prove to the society that the youth can do something for the society.
She further said that she will alter the allegations that the SK President was not able to do something in the city council.
The newly-elected SK President said that she will be active to participate with the possible debates in the city council if needed despite the fact that many have warned her to stay hushed in the city council.
Duran disclosed that she will express and convey the voice of the youth in the city council.
